People marked as 'South Asians' in Spain
Like for the other Southern European countries Shah (1994, 224) also for Spain notes an increased inflow of
'South Asian' migrants. Nonetheless, the total number of about 8,000 legal residents is in an European comparison, also compared to the other Mediterranean countries, rather low.
