Wintersemester 2004/05: Virtual Ethnicity - Ethnic Identity Construction in the  Internet

Assignments

Every student will observe during the whole term an ethnic virtual space and report on it. This field study will later be the basis for the essay. It is possible to change the chosen virtual space once during the term. A written explanation for this has to be given by the student and accepted by the lecturer.

The weekly report on the ethnic virtual space, the presentation in the seminar and active participation in the seminar are necessary requirements for writing the essay and thus gaining the credits.
